See what lands on the table at the readout
Pages from a sample Line Mapping report for Larchmere Cabinetry, a fictional cabinet maker. The company and every number are invented. The method, the layout and the honesty are the real thing.
Pages from the sample report
Larchmere spends about $245,000 a year getting ready to decide.
That is about 3,800 hours across nine decisions, at the rates Dana confirmed. 54% of it sits in two of them, and both are ready to build.

Build dealer assignment for quote requests first.
Each lead in the manual queue arrives with one card: every eligible dealer, why it is eligible, its response stats and any pause, dated as of last night. The lead team still makes every call. Track A, about 4 weeks, $18,000 to $22,000.
Dealer assignment for quote requests
Trigger. A homeowner's quote request lands in the marketing platform's manual queue, because the zip has more than one eligible dealer or a covering dealer is paused. 200 a week across the lead team.
“Which dealer gets a homeowner is a call a person makes here. I never want a lead going to a dealer we've paused just because the zip matched.”
One card per lead: every eligible dealer and why, response stats, any pause shown with its reason, a duplicate flag, and the date the figures are from.
Nothing on this card recommends a dealer. That call stays with the lead team.

Year one is negative at the expected case. That is the right answer for a build this size; the case rests on years two and three, and on what the lead team said it would do with the time: call the homeowners whose dealer went quiet.
What we think you should not build
This list is why the rest can be believed. Each reason is one we would defend in the room.
L7 Monthly dealer at risk review
$9,504 · 0.45Larchmere already has a tool that produces this kind of output, the health score in Larchmere Pro, and the team stopped trusting it after it flagged the best dealer in Columbus during a showroom remodel. A faster pack would land in a meeting that, in Elena's words, often ends with nobody's name on anything.

Questions
About this sample
Is this a real client report?
No. Larchmere Cabinetry is invented, and so is every line, number and name in it. We built the sample so you can read a finished report without a client's operations ending up on a public page. The structure is the one we ship.
What is in the full Line Mapping report?
Sixteen pages: four full line maps, the feasibility scoring, the arithmetic behind each estimate, the build plan, the fix first work, a thirty, sixty and ninety day plan, the event lines, and a do not build list with a reason on every entry.
Why is there a do not build list?
Because the useful half of the answer is often no. A line that looks like a candidate can fail on data, on volume or on the fact that the judgment in it is the job. We write down which ones failed and why, so nobody spends a quarter rediscovering it.
Will my report look like this one?
Same shape, your work. The tabs here are four pages out of sixteen, picked because they show the method. What changes is the lines we map, what the arithmetic says about them and which ones end up on the do not build list.
